The Bower Family

We are the Bower family and our Au Pair, Elena came to us in August of 2006. She immediately fit in with the family. Her loving disposition was a hit with my three girls. She immediately picked up my children’s habits, likes, and dislikes as well as mine, too, which made everyone comfortable. Having three young children, it is important to keep them on a schedule and keep things organized, at least as much as possible and she recognizes this. She always has time to sit and read them their favorite book or play with their favorite toy. She is able to share her culture with us and give us interesting perspective and stories. She brought over many toys for my kids from both Russia, which is where she was born and raised, and Germany, where she moved as a child. Often, she will bake us treats and meals from her home country. She is always willing and able to try to do creative and fun things with the children; for example, helping the kids make Christmas decorations.
