The Taylor Family

We are the Taylor Family and Heidi, our Au Pair, has been with our family for 8 months. As I write this, the tears start coming because I know her time with us is limited. Heidi is brave, as are all au pairs, in this quest to realize a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. We only hope that we have been able to give her the experience for which she is so very deserving. Heidi was the first candidate we spoke with and we only spoke twice before asking her to come live with us. There was no magical interview answer that solidified it for us, but an ease that came from talking with her. Heidi reads to our girls every day, takes them to their activities, goes to the library weekly, and handles all the admin that comes along with our family’s busy life. Our four-year old daughter, Nina, has quite an imagination and Heidi enthusiastically pretends right along with Nina in games of hairdresser, doctor, birthday party, and Cinderella - all while she simultaneously plays the toy piano.
